SUMMARYInstructional Design and Adult Education experts Will Schexnayder, Kyle Schmidt and I were tasked with reviewing and developing a new course creation methodology for Alchemy. The Beat / Learning Moment Structure is a pedagogical methodology, crafted through this collaborative effort. This approach modularizes learning, transforming it into a versatile set of building blocks, each encapsulating a key learning moment. By enabling the flexible interchange of these blocks, the program simplifies course development, enhances the efficiency of art creation, and offers possibilities for constructing both comprehensive courses and focused refresher modules. Furthermore, its unique design facilitates easy content updates, ensuring the courses remain relevant and engaging over time.
